What is Integrative Medicine?

Integrative medicine combines the most well-researched conventional medicine with the most well-researched, evidence-based complementary therapies to achieve the appropriate care for each person.

Integrative Medicine

What it means to us

We see integrative medicine as an umbrella under which western medicine meets eastern medicine, which can result in unbelievable outcomes. Often times without the need for the heavy reliance of pharmaceuticals. Under the Integrative Medicine umbrella, sits Functional Medicine. Which is a way of practicing medicine where doctors look to treat the root cause of sickness/diseases and view the human body as a complex system of systems. Striving to solve for root causes, just not mask symptoms. Functional Medicine is also a certification path MDs and other medical practitioners can seek through the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM).
